The Gia D-to-Z scale is the industry standard for colour grading diamonds. Each letter represents a range of colour based on diamonds tone and saturation.

The Grading scale describes the normal colour range from D (colourless) to Z (light yellow, brown, gray)

In normal colour range, the closer a diamond gets to colourless the higher the per carat price.
